Policies
Find below our policies for our grooming salon

Lateness
If you are 15+ minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled as we will no longer have time in the schedule to complete the groom with other booked appointments for the day.

No Shows
If you don’t show up to your appointment the full appointment amount will be charged and you will need to rebook a new appointment.

Cancellations
If you cancel an appointment less than 48 hours you will be still charged the 20% deposit amount (if not paid online this will be charged to your card)

If you cancel less than 24hrs the full appointment amount will be kept or taken from your usual payment method as the appointment was taken that another client could have had.

Matting
If your dog comes to the salon matted there will be extra charges added onto your appointment as this means the groom will take more time, care and also blunt/wear our equipment so the extra charge allows cover for this

Fleas
If your dog comes to the salon with fleas there will be an additional charge as we will have to close the salon to deep clean after your appointment and use an insecticide to kill the parasites

Bitches in season
Bitches in season cannot attend grooming appointments until after the season has finished as we have entire males in the salon so it's fair to them, and females can be less happy being groomed while in season due to the hormones and sensitivities

Vaccinations
We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated before coming into the salon to ensure the safety of all our clients dogs that use our services

Accidents and injury
In a grooming salon we use sharp equipment to be able to do our job, this does mean that on the odd occasion as we are working with live animals that don't necessarily stay still, rare accidents can occur.
If anything does happen while in the salon we will always be honest, open and let you know on collection (unless and emergency) and give details.

Ruff to Puff is not liable for any vet bills for accidents or injury as it is to owners discretion to use a grooming salon with the knowledge that while we work to the very best of our ability animals can be unpredictable and therefore incidents though uncommon, can happen.
